It is inbetween black and brown...but weighs heavier in the "black" range

Can this light be used in an outdoor covered porch?
I don't know for sure, it's not damp rated but I suppose it would survive a covered porch.
Is this light dimmable?
It should be able to be used there.

Yes ... ours are both installed with a standard dimmer switch. No issues. This is a really great looking fixture by the way. Just be sure to fully take into account the large size of the fixture.
Would this light work in an entryway with a flat 9' ceiling? Or would the light be too large?
It is quite a large lantern, but I guess it would fit in a 9' ceiling
Can this light be used on a slope ceiling?
