Can the shades be changed to another style?
Yes if the globes can fit with the sockets.
What is the diameter of the center round ceiling piece?
3-4 inches at the most
So we had this light installed and the bar on both side do not touch the ceiling, can this be adjusted somehow to sit level on ceiling?
I have the same problem, I have been unable to correct this problem due to the fact that the bracket is VERY heavy gauge steel. If someone figured it out, I hope they post their solution.
Would this work on an angled ceiling?
Based on my installation of the one I purchased I don't think it would.
