Hi, thanks for your question. It's more bronze, no matte black as we named the finish as "Golden Bronze". The finish is like dark brown in color but contains tiny golden flecks.
What length of rods are included with this? The reason being, I need to know if this can be between 20-30 inches.
As short as you want you would have to cut the rod to the size u want. careful the one I bought, the screw that holds the shade secured was stripped could not tighten up the shade.... dang, my luck...
